It's simple. You display links on your website,
earning credits to have your link displayed on other websites.
When you signup with
LinkAlert.com - Link Your Website! , you receive a unique code to insert onto your webpage. Every
time someone visits your website, you earn up to five credits (credits
based on your exchange ratio). |
What happens when I sign up? |
Upon signup, you are provided with customized
code to insert into your webpage. This code automatically displays the
links of other member sites. Each time your site displays these links,
your account earns up to five credits (depending on the number of links
you choose to display).
| |
Each credit is good to display your link
once on another website. For instance, if you have 10,000 credits, then
your link will be shown 10,000 times on other websites.

Why text links? Why not banner ads? |
Text links have shown to outperform banner
ads in click-thru ratios and effectiveness. Plus, text links can easy
integrate into almost any webpage layout without disturbing or distracting
visitors.
How many links can I display on one page? |
You can display from 1 up to 5 links per
page by grouping them in a link box. By displaying 1 link you send 1 impression,
by displaying 5 links you send 5 impressions (and earn up to 5 credits).

How are exchange ratios calculated? |
LinkAlert.com - Link Your Website! uses dynamic exchane ratios that are calculated for each member
based on the quality of traffic the links are displayed to. Unlike
banner exchange services that have fixed and unfair exchange ratios
(2:1 or 3:1), our exchange ratio is recalculated every fifteen
minutes for each member.
The more clicks sent, the higher the exchange ratio is. The members
whose click through ratios are highest receive 100% exchange ratio.
Most members rotating relavent links on their sites have exchange
ratios of 80% (4:5) to 100% (1:1). This rewards quality traffic
and ensures your links are shown on the best sites.

Can I make links open in a new window? |
We have found that visitors tend to close
pop-up windows without paying them much attention, we made links to open
on the same page only. This ensures that the quality of clicks stays high.
